The objective of this project was to design a special edition zine for an issue of Communication Arts, exploring the lives and contributions of iconic Black designers. The zine celebrates and highlights Georg Olden, a pioneering designer whose work significantly shaped modern visual communication. 

Inspired by the visual language of the Black Panther Newspaper, the design draws from historical activist print media created by Black designers while integrating contemporary design elements. The final piece blends past and present aesthetics to illustrate Olden’s lasting influence and demonstrate how his legacy continues to impact design today.
